FBR RECOGNIZES UNITED COUNTRY REAL ESTATE’S COMMITMENT TO INNOVATION, VETERANS

“Not all franchises are created equal…”

Following multiple honors earlier this year from Franchise Business Review (FBR), United Country Real Estate continues to earn recognition from FBR for the company’s achievements and culture.

In October, FBR placed United Country on its two newest lists for 2023 — one naming the Top Franchises for Veterans and the other showing the Most Innovative Franchises. FBR analyzed data from thousands of franchise owners and franchisees representing more than 385 brands to arrive at a list of just 60 companies in the “Veterans” category and only 100 for the “Most Innovative” designation.

These latest honors follow several others for United Country earlier in the year, including Top Franchises Culture, Top Franchises Recession-Proof, Top Franchises for Women, Top Franchises (general) and a 10 Years Hall of Fame award. FBR also named Payton Hamm and Stacey Carnes-Stricker of United Country Real Estate | Exploration Realty & Auctions in Oklahoma as Franchise Rock Stars in the Women-Owned business category.

FBR provides the only national ranking of franchises based solely on franchisee satisfaction and performance data each year. The independent research firm surveys thousands of franchise owners representing the strongest franchise brands. Survey questions focus on franchisee experience and satisfaction with training, support, operations, financial opportunity and other core business drivers.

“Not all franchises are created equal, and the reality is that very few of the thousands of franchise opportunities available today are rated highly by their franchise owners. That’s why we survey thousands of franchisees every year,” said Eric Stites, founder & CEO of Franchise Business Review.

Regarding United Country’s Top Franchises for Veterans award, Stites cited the importance of U.S. military veterans in franchising success, because this is a group in which leadership skills, resilience and motivation are common attributes. As for the Most Innovative Franchises honor, FBR president & COO Michelle Rowan pointed to the implementation of “products, processes, or services that enable and sustain growth.”

“For prospective franchisees, understanding which brands are the most innovative can help you make a confident and smart investment,” Rowan said. “We are proud to recognize the franchises that prioritize and value innovation to support their franchisees’ success and the long-term resiliency of the brand.”

Since its founding nearly a century ago, United Country has relied on innovation in supporting (currently) more than 400 offices and some 4,000 real estate agents and brokers from coast-to-coast. The company continually rolls out new and revamped websites, impactful print and digital advertising campaigns, and other technology designed to empower its affiliates and to help these brokerages list and sell more properties. Regular training events are also a big part of the United Country program.

“United Country as a company does not succeed without the hard work, creativity and commitment to success of all our affiliates,” said United Country Real Estate President Mike Duffy. “These office owners and their dedicated team members have played major roles in making sure the company remains the industry leader it has always been.”
